My step-daughters are greatly affected by their narcissistic mother who continually digs to tear down their father in front of them. They need counseling, but unfortunately they don't live with us and are only here 1 weekend/mo (if we are lucky), and if it were to be arranged for where they live, she will not let them go. It is HARD to forgive (repeatedly) when she can't let go of the past.
