After decades of not attending church I found one I truly enjoy going to. In the last few weeks I have gone twice, went to a life group once, and I am signed up for the Belong class this weekend. I took my 7 year old daughter to the child care last weekend for the first time and she loved it. She asked if she could come back next weekend before we ever checked out. I plan on continuing to attend church and the life group on a regular basis.
My daughter told her mom (my ex) this morning that she is excited to go back. This was the first time she had heard of it. I did not think it was a big deal taking her to the child care.
Her mom said I was the last person she expect ed to expose her daughter to Christians. She demanded that if I continue to go I take my daughter to her house on Sunday morning. This type of conflict is highly unusual because we co parent well.
Please pray for me to have the strength to continue doing what I enjoy.
Please pray for my daughter that this does not adversely affect her.
Please pray to soften her mothers heart.
