We embrace the command made in Matthew 28:19-20 to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. We’re committed to go beyond our walls through the support and sending out of mission partners who effectively lead people to find and follow Jesus all over the globe.

Greece

Thousands of at-risk refugees are flooding into the city of Athens Greece to apply for asylum in the European Union. Men, women and children are fleeing mid-east countries to avoid ethnic and political persecution, often the sentence of death. Harvester has partnered with Transform, Rise, Multiply under the leadership of Danny McGill to share the love of Jesus with them as hundreds are hearing the message of Jesus.

Russia

With Mission to Russia, Harvester is partnering with Sasha and Nadya Zhurin who have answered God’s call to plant a church in the Davydovsky district of Kostroma, one of the larger cities in Russia. Davydovsky is the largest district of the city and is a home to about 100,000 people.  Sasha, Nadya and their team have been praying over Davydovsky and on September 5th, 2021 they hosted their first home church service.

Dos Caminos, Mexico

Samuel Coto pastors the Christian Church in the Dos Caminos community and his wife, Brisia, leads many ministries focused on the community. Dos Caminos is approximately 90 minutes Southeast of Vera Cruz and has a population of around 700 people. Opportunities to reach out into this community include beginning a Christian high school (Currently, high school is a one hour walk away), Soccer Tournaments for kids, and resources for healthy marriages.

Czech Republic

Spencer and Tereza Steel serve at Beskydy Mountain Academy as Student Life coordinators. This Christian high school’s academic level is very high; therefore, families choose to send their children there regardless of their religious background. The Steel’s ministry focuses on creating an environment where students have an opportunity to find and follow Jesus.

Queretaro, Mexico

Jaime Castro is the President of Universidad Christiana de Mexico. He, his wife Ruth and the staff and faculty are diligently training young men and women to take the message of Jesus’ love throughout Mexico. They also partner with churches in the area providing necessary resources. Often, they are serving in outreach events around the city leading people to Jesus and the local church.

East Asia

Asia Pacific International is training church planters to go into the difficult regions of Asia. Their work and dedication have brought many from the endless chase of false gods into the grace and truth of the one true God. These pastors – many times husband and wife teams – live their lives and raise their families in harm’s way to reach the most vulnerable people in the world.

Haiti

Pastor Joseph Constane and his wife Vicky lead Mission Ambassadors of Christ to Haiti (MACH). Harvester partners with six churches in the Port au Prince region of Haiti where life and ministry are extremely difficult. Gang violence plagues the city and Voodoo is prevalent, cutting through the spiritual lives of the people they are trying to reach with the hope Jesus offers.

Ethiopia

Shelly Hilvety works with the urban poor in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where she shares the love of Jesus with HIV and leprosy patients, and their families. Shelly also teaches at a Bible College in the Addis Ababa region raising up the next generation of church leaders.

Nicaragua

Since 1995 Harvester Christian has partnered with Harvest Initiative led by Marcus and Ann Pearson. Harvest Initiative works in several locations around Nicaragua. The mission base site near Tipitapa supports a 40-person team as they operate schools, feeding centers and outreach activities around the country. Harvest Initiative also acts as a training and encouraging ministry to over a dozen local churches throughout the country.
