We Believe

Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the Living God.
Jesus died for our sins, was buried, rose from the dead, and is coming again.
The Bible is the inspired Word of God – absolute in its authority and complete in its revelation.
The Church is the body of Christ-followers who look to the Bible as our example.
We are ‘Christians only’ but not the only Christians.
Love is to be shown to all people as central to the Christian faith.

Our History

Leading people to find and follow Jesus

Multiplying disciples in relational environments

How We Do It

Explore the Faith
Embrace Community
Engage in Service
Empower Disciples

  • Explore the Faith
  • "Jesus is worth another look."
  • The Weekends
  • Our Weekend services are designed to explore a clear, biblical understanding of Jesus. This exploration is intended to lead both the long-time member and first-time guest to a place of awe and wonder in Him, which will in turn spur their desire to explore him, his life and his teachings further.

Our goal is that each person can say, “I explore Jesus in the pursuit of a growing relationship with him.”

  • Embrace Community
  • "Circles are better than rows."
  • Groups
  • Groups are a big deal with every age group at Harvester. Our desire is that every person who attends Harvester is cared for by a leader and a group of friends throughout the week. Groups are intentional about challenging and loving one another in the day-to-day life of following Jesus.

Our goal is that each person can say, “I belong to a community that is being changed by Jesus”

  • Engage in Service
  • "Saved people serve people."
  • Church, City & World
  • Our hope is that all Harvester members engage their unique talents and resources for the benefit of others inside and outside our doors. We engage our gifts by volunteering in the ministries of Harvester, as well as serving in our city and with our mission partners throughout the world.

Our goal is that each person can say, “I engage my gifts to show compassion to those around me.”

  • Empower Disciples
  • "Found people find people."
  • Relationships.
  • Every ministry we do empowers every member to share Jesus in their day-to-day lives with the hopes of leading people to find and follow Jesus. We hope that everyone in our city will hear the life-changing hope of Jesus from the lips of someone from Harvester, resulting in new conversions every week.

Our goal is that each person can say, “I am compelled and empowered to lead others to find and follow Jesus.”

  • Biblical Authority
  • “Speaking God’s truth in love”
  • John 1:14
  • The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

  • Dependent Prayer
  • “Thy will be done”
  • Matthew 6:9-13
  • “This, then, is how you should pray:

‘Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’ “

  • Authentic Environments
  • “Come as you are”
  • Romans 5:8
  • God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

  • Strong Families
  • "Invest in the next generation now”
  • Psalm 78:1-7
  • My people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things, things from of old—things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us. We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done. He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which He commanded our ancestors to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget His deeds but would keep His commands.
